Vandals attack statues in historic Rome palace

Image from Garden Visit
Its enough to make you weep.  It was reported today in the Straits Times that vandals have attacked and stolen several statues from the gardens of the Villa Medici in Rome.  And although I am sure unintended the use of the word vandal is particularly appropriate given the events of 455 AD.
